Installation Overview


Here is a quick thumbnail sketch of the steps involved in using the Atomic Flash installer.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS PBX WITHOUT FIRST READING THE PRIMER ON ASTERISK SECURITY AND THE DOCUMENTATION!

Basic Setup
Atomic Flash
  • Insert Atomic Flash installer into PC (NOTE: The hard drive will be erased!)
  • Boot PC from the Flash Drive Following Manufacturer Procedure
  • At the prompt, type nuke and press the Enter key after reading warnings
  • Return in 15 minutes and click OK
  • At command prompt, type the following command: mount-me
  • At command prompt, type the following command: /mnt/RESTORING/root/fixit-master.x
  • Remove the Atomic Flash installer from the PC
  • At command prompt, type the following command to reboot into PBX in a Flash: exit
  • After your system reboots, it will reboot one more time automatically to complete the install.
  • NOTE: For the time being, do not run update-fixes or update-source with this build! yum update is fine with usual precautions concerning the risks inherent in using Bleeding Edge software. Be safe. Make a backup first: /root/mondobackup.sh
